I missed the boat on this one. We let our Costco membership lapse, as we go to a BJ's that is closer. I just got a friend who has a Costco membership to agree to purchase this for us, but it is already sold out.

This isn't really a scanner, but rather a cheap P&S aimed at film media. The output quality is awful. I owned a similar but older model for a day. One could do lots better by putting a slide adapter on your DSLR lens and aiming it at color-balanced lighting.
