As big as Amazon is, unless there are 1000's of orders for this, I would say just about anything other than some Amazon buyer (or algorithm these days) doing what they normally do is a stretch. I worked in logistics for a while and it was beneficial to fill an order as quickly as you had stock. Holding onto goods increases your liability. Though, I agree that it would be cool if they were just holding onto orders until tomorrow and then letting the flood gates open.
