What color would you choose? I'm thinking down the road for resale, I see alot of people like the yellow but for resale I think the white or black may be better. What do ya'll think?

White looks the best. Black will get noticed less. Yellow for Marc Newson fans.

I don't think it'll mean a thing for resale really - the resale price is going to be so dirt cheap regardless of color no-one is going to care. After having owned the black one already, I'm excited for the yellow. I happened to see one in person for sale at the walker art museum here in mpls last weekend, and they yellow is much more muted than online photos suggest, and the grip areas also don't seem as prominent in person either (not to mention that is where you've got to hold the thing!).

Do they take a photo the instant you press the shutter button after it's focused in?

With Amazon and out of stock orders, you have to enter your payment info, but they will not charge your card until the day it ships.

Alright, here's a question--If I'm justifying the purchase on the basis of the lens, should I put my money instead towards a 40mm limited?

If you haven't done it yet, you really ought to read this review comparison.
Pentax DA 35mm F2.4 vs 40mm XS vs 40mm Limited - Introduction - PentaxForums.com

The upside to the 40 Limited for me is that it takes a standard filter (49mm) and the XS takes a 27mm (hard to find in quality filters), comes with a killer hood and the XS has none, has a distance scale, and is far better built (yes, I have both in front of me). The downside to the 40 Limited is that it costs $375 and the 40XS is included in the $319 deal with the camera.

You can always piggyback with step up rings. Doc is right on 27mm filter choices. I found a 27-37 and 37-49 to gift my son many of my forty year old filters. Actually looks pretty good on the pancake.

Insane deal. I jumped on it.

I don't even want the da 40 xs. I'l probably resell that. It will make the deal on the body even better.

Way too good of a deal.
Works in reverse too. Either the lens or the body will sell for 150-200 on the marketplace, so it's like a massive rebate.
