You must go to the additional sellers page and go to the Amazon.com offering. They are out of stock but taking orders at that price. Nladt tome this happened the price didn't ladt long, but Amazon honored the sales.

That's really odd. I placed my order on 12/28 and it is still saying Delivery Estimate: Thursday January 17, 2013 - Thursday February 7. I wonder if it has anything to do with ordering with Prime.

If you check over in the 'has it shipped yet' thread he indicated he received the email with the estimated date range (with his range starting on jan 30), not an exact date.

Yay, I put the order in on Jan 04 and just got the delivery estimate: February 4, 2013 - February 26, 2013.. kudo to Amazon for shipping to Canada, though I pay a bit more, but still far less than buying in Canada - go figure.

Ditto, got the same notice. Stoked, I should have this before leaving for Disney with the wife and kids. Will be nice to carry around something smaller than the K-5.....though....if my Groupon Q actually ships, I might just got with it.

I say "fishy" because the "pros" of the Fuji are few (3), and arguably insignificant (ex: viewfinder saves battery life) the "pros" of the Pentax are many (15), and pretty darned significant (better IQ for instance...duh!).
Anyway, I waffled on the K-01 but finally bit. Mine is supposed to arrive sometime between late Jan and late Feb.

Has interchangeable lenses
Better image quality
Better maximum light sensitivity
Longer battery life
More dynamic range

Just amazing.

Actually, it is even stupider than you just mentioned. If you look at how they compiled the score, Fuji won because accumulated a ton of points in the categories of popularity and lenses. Popularity was a heavily weighted category. Also, they gave the K-01 0 points in this category, indicating that they were actually scoring it without a lens.

Good question. I don't know what the goal of that site is in general...but I think it is incredibly strange to have "Popularity" as literally the most heavily weighted criteria...then to give the K-01 scores of 0 in the lens categories? It just doesn't make sense, and isn't to be taken seriously.
