You must go to the additional sellers page and go to the Amazon.com offering. They are out of stock but taking orders at that price. Nladt tome this happened the price didn't ladt long, but Amazon honored the sales.

Down to $314.95 as of 1/8/13

Yeah, I go to B&H for the majority of my photographic needs. Never had a problem with them.

The things that are holding me back from cancelling and going for the white one are: 1) Owning such a novelty as the big yellow brick and 2) Dirtying up the white one.

BTW, can anybody with the white K-01 give some feedback as to how much of a worry it is to dirty your camera?

Its rugged and grooved, and is a creamy white, not a pure white. I don't think dirt will be an issue.

The black kit just came down in price at B&H to $358. You could sell the lens and the camera would be almost free.

I also noticed on Amazon that about 9 yellow k-01/40XS kits became available a couple of days ago, at a higher price, surprised they didnt backfill the orders instead of putting them up for sale. I think I got mine because I got on the chat desk with Amazon. I also got my shipping to Oz waived because of the long delay.

Thanks, Selar, I just checked now, the order status has been revised to "Delivery Estimate: Monday February 25, 2013 by 8:00pm". So, that is a good, can't wait to get my hands on the k-01. It is the focus-peeking function that I am looking forward to since my k-5 does not have.

The yellow is REALLY yellow. Very saturated. Probably breaks histograms if taking a picture of it.

I ordered on Dec. 28th and just got it today. Seems worth the wait for the good price (especially since they ain't making anymore!).

Ordered Jan 4th, and see my date has been now firmed up to Feb 26th. I'm actually likely going to cancel this order though, as I got my black one from B&H yesterday. Have offered up this yellow one to a friend....but he's less than enthusiastic about the colour. Just to share....took a pick of my pimped out K-01. I'm actually really liking the form and size. Can't really comment on it in full, until its had some real world experience.

No David, focal length is too long...was just making it look cool.

The viewfinder is a better match for my FA31mm or FA28mm.
