The price that comes up for me, using the link you supplied for the 32G card, is $27.90. How can I get the $19.95 price?

Did someone experiencing problems with this SanDisk 64GB Ultra SDXC UHS-I Memory Card, 30 MB/s Read Speed ?

is it compatible with K-5 ? (I know it is not for a K20D since it's a SHXC, ot SDHC...

do we have to reformat it ? I read that reformatting would slow it down ... is that true ?

thanks

Yes, it's compatible with the K-5, but if you're running the 1.0 firmware then you will need to upgrade to the latest version. Formatting the card doesn't slow it down or anything.

That card must weigh a fair bit more than the last one I purchased or they are trying to make their margin on shipping to Australians.
The card is $27. and the shipping is $59.

I had a 400mm lens delivered from California for $14. less than that. :-(

Well, When I inserter the 64 Gb into my K5 (with the latest FW), it says that the card is not formatted... then if I format it within the K5, ire ceognize it, but after taking a picture or two, I cannot preview the images...
So then I put on the card reader of my laptop, I can see the card okay, but there is no DCIM folder created. I checked the file system and it is still exFat as on the original SD Card from factory...
What should it be after the K5 has formatted it ? exFat isn't ?

All I see is the $26.95 price when I follow the link. Am I not looking in the right place?

This sale was a month ago. My guess is that it is over now.

Yeah it's 3/11 now, not 2/11. Add "sd" to your price watch watch list to stay on top of the latest deals!

Well that explains it. And a lot of other things, too.
