I recently bought one of these - its an M42 thread mount manual focus lens so easily adaptable to just about any camera. Made in Japan, metal construction. Someone has posted images:

Thanks! I bought one too. But what kind of adapter do we need? Any one has any recommendation for a generic adapter may be from ebay?
Many people seem happy with the generic adapters, I had one with the wide flange and it was hard to get on and messed up infinity focusing.
I now only use the original Pentax adapters and they are great

The rules of lens buying were if it costs the same as a sandwich buy it. If it costs as much as a deluxe pizza think about it and if it sucks sell it in a month or two. If it costs as much as a fancy dinner ask your spouse.

He also had some rules for fleabay - (paraphrasing) Bid low, bid often, if you miss out on one, wait a bit - another will be along shortly.

Snagged one too. Although a smidge more than a sandwich ($16 with shipping), I thought it was worthwhile.

Well I just checked and he has 6 left, So they sold well.

Probably the majority of them ended up to Forum members here.

Will be fun to see what people can do with them, We should start a picture thread for the cheap buggers once they have arrived to people!

It shouldn't be too long. Mine was marked shipped today. I'll probably have it tomorrow. I'm doing a photo meetup on Saturday and I'll take some shots with it on both the K-5 and Spotmatic.

You are in the same State as the seller so I would think you'll get it first.

I think I'll get it pretty quick too being in North Eastern PA.

This really did fit RioRico's rules of lens buying

Man I miss having him around
Boris, I can't agree with you enough about RioRico. He's one of the most literate, concise, and hilarious cynics ever. Reminds me of some of Twain's observations in his autobiography.

It didn't come today. It left Bethpage, NY at midnight, which means it is probably in Rochester right now.

On the bright side, UPS is delivering my Ricoh KR-10 from shopgoodwill a day early

I'd buy one, if they shipped all the way down here.

And P mount is probably short for Praktica mount, which is what m42 is known as in Japan. So it should work with any m42 adapter as well as on m42 cameras. I cant wait to read a review once people start getting these

Need I remind you that you're supposed to be selling, not buying.

Ergo, even for $17, I snoozed. And I have a proposal from a Member to relieve me of the entire list of redundant items - to which I am preparing a response.
