The s10 has the macro mode as well...and I believe the sensor is larger, and the lens faster with the s10. p10 has a longer reach though, going up to 300mm equiv. on the long end. Honestly, I'm likely to use it more with the primes. It's pretty sweet to grab that 28mm and get DSLR quality shots, bokeh and all, in such a small package. Ricoh may (or may not) be killing this model, but honestly I think this unit could serve it's purposes as a small grab and go unit for years to come. It won't replace my DSLR, but prefect for those times you're out...don't want to lug the DSLR, and want better quality pics than what your phone can grab. I've got a 4 year old, and 9 month old, and have come to realize I need the better portability at times....as my hands are often already full.
Originally posted by yen800 I was thinking to order the s10, but I found out the p10 got a macro mode which seems to be really nice... starting to use it and its very handy camera...
