That actually seems like a bargain for long glass like that, not that I'll ever be able to afford it. It's the Q and a 300mm for me.

I would actually love it for moon shots and other astrophotography stuff. Imagine Jupiter through it, or other planets, maybe a nebula or Andromeda too. On my K5 that is...

That's not a bad price, but I hate that I'd have to fork out a couple hundred bucks extra for a converter to get the reach I'm after.

It was only up for 3 or 4 days and IIRC the listing was for a month.
