There's your answer.
But it's really not an answer if you think about it. It could mean A) the lens sold via an private offer, B) as baro-nite suggested, it sold locally, C) the seller decided not to sell or D) someone stole the lens from the seller. The fact that it is no longer available leaves a whole bunch of possible scenarios.

It's not really that important, is it? Just use your imagination and choose your own adventure. I know I've got more important things to obsess about.
