It was only up for 3 or 4 days and IIRC the listing was for a month.

I don't know what's going on. Maybe someone did pony up the money, as it now says: "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."

But it's really not an answer if you think about it. It could mean A) the lens sold via an private offer, B) as baro-nite suggested, it sold locally, C) the seller decided not to sell or D) someone stole the lens from the seller. The fact that it is no longer available leaves a whole bunch of possible scenarios.
