Well well, looks like Singapore Pentaxwebstore is off loading K-30 in waiting for FF? They are selling K-30 in different colors at unbelievable prices:

DSLR Cameras

$599SGD ($479USD) for body alone or $1069SGD ($855USD) for K30+DA18135WR bundle!

Man, if I were looking for a new Pentax dSLR cameras right now, I'd definitely go for one of the colored K-30.

Not sure how good this seller is though, they dudded me on a 18-135 they sold by not including a hood then ignoring emails asking about it. Buyer beware.

Just decided to check Yodobashi Camera prices here in Japan. Body only K30 is $533.74, Body+18-55mm is $733.27, Body +18-55mm +55-300mm is $775.46, Body+18-135WR is $1048.91. And of course they have every color known to humans. They also have next day free shipping anywhere in Japan.

This works out to like $515 US. Vancouver-area Lens & Shutter stores, per email I just received. Not sure about the availability, though.

UPDATE - Seller emailed me this;

We have recently changed our policy of offering our customers free delivery as Pentax has decided to further incentivize customers by dropping the price of the K-30 and providing even more freebies.

The delivery charges would be chargeable at $75(SGD)

I filed a dispute with PayPal for requesting additional payment outside the purchase contract... Looks like I'll be using that DA35 2.4 on my old IST DS... Kind of a let down and perhaps I'm being stubborn, but I do not purchase items in this manner.
