Same cost as a 645II when it comes out?.....but this might keep it's value......

Aye, it's because they're rubbish, no one wants them.

Maybe I should have said not many folk can afford them, for a limited everyday usage lens.

Ah, but the Bigma can autofocus and double as a portrait lens!

Of course, pretty much everybody feels inadequate when one of these beasts is hauled out... I mean who has a Canon 1200mm or the Nikkor 1200-1700mm zoom?

this only reinforces my conviction that getting a Q is the right move. aside from the fact that the Q is about $16,500 less than this monster. When coupled with my 300/4 and the 5.5 crop factor I will actually have the equivalent of 1650mm at F4, with something that weighs about 1 kilo.

It does not say sold ,only no longer available so who knows what happened to it , i already have one so not me
