Just got my show flyer from Hunt’s Photo in Melrose MA for their weekend show,
The K-30 with 18-55mm AL lens after rebates $449.95

They were running a local deal with a further $50 off I believe but the local guy that made me aware of this indicated that it was for local pickup.

Prices have been going up and down for this one but it at lowest now.

(I bought mine about 6 months ago when they had like 5 of the sets and prices dropped and then they were all gone in one day)-mine was also "like-new" and shutter count was only 218...

Good buy if you want the 18-135mm lens

That's warehouse though, no warranty because it's considered used, I believe. Good price but no warranty on a basically new cam. Might as well go grey market and pay even less probably.

True, this NEW package, even with DAL 18-55 is a steal.

I really like the white one...

But when I bought mine (November 2012), K-30 Body only were over $600 new; and I paid $760 for K-30 & 18-135mm WR.

So I am pretty happy with my buy (I ended up selling my 18-135mm on ebay, and after shipping and selling fees, I got about $350) That brought my K-30 body to about $400

Also, my email receipt from Amazon does not indicate condition of the camera, so I have it for warranty issues (should I ever need it) - it was not grey market, came in original box.

I will soon be the happy owner of a K-30 'storm-trooper.' Buy one while they are still in stock and while the rebate is still active [expires 05/11]. I cannot wait...

I have a K-30. This is an unbelievable deal. The K-30 was already the best bang for the buck before this. Anyone considering this camera, just do it!

Unfortunately, only the white is available with the 18-55mm lens. And I can't see any code to be applied at checkout...

It seems to be by phone only. How did you get the online option? And are you sure these are not demo or used cameras?

Just talked to a rep over the phone - rebate is from Hunt's, active till tomorrow including. You can order online, rebate form will be included in the box. Ordered one, actually previously ordered blue, then canceled, now knowing it's even $50 cheaper ordered white...Seems like I have a problem...GAS?
