Ahhh, I've had my eye on this lens. I can use it on my k5 and Nex-5n with adapter. I like fisheye lenses but wonder if i should just save up for a Sigma 10-20mm or Sigma 8-16mm. I guess only I can answer that lol. Obviously they're very different lenses. hmm...

I like mine and have found it to be, like my other Samyang the 85/1.4, optically a very good lens. Good luck with your decision.

Someone has noted elsewhere that the 8-16 is discontinued, at least at the the big sellers, in Pentax mount. Could mean that they're selling enough copies to maintain production but only of the more popular (with buyers of that lens) mounts. Could be that this is the start of a general discontinuance that will culminate in a new version to fall within their new lineup.

This lens choice thing would be so much easier if I simply could afford to buy one of each ....
