This is the 4-5.6 version of the lens that normally retails for 480 USD (as compared to the f/3.5 for 600 USD), so around 17% off of the normal price. Not a bad deal if you were in the market, but not a spectacular deal to jump on simply because its 'cheap' (because its not).

I jumped in! Didn't want to risk loosing this deal! I was in the market for a super wide-angle. I was waiting for the deal from Adorama which I saw a little while back where this lens along with cleaning kit and UV filter for $430.
