Chat with Josh from Adorama, he confirmed that the 2 year extension warranty won't work on grey market camera or imported camera that doesn't have original warranty to start with.

The whole warranty thing in the US is a bit of a straw argument. Pentax will honor the warranty on the purchase, we have no instances of <1 year from purchase from a real seller that they have rejected the warranty. I have had an item serviced that was purchased via ebay serviced under the warranty, so I have person experience here. Overstock has been a bit hit or miss but if this is true its a GREAT deal. I already have the lens and a IIs so I am not going to pursue it but I think it would be worth a try if you want this combo. Good luck.

Just checked the Pentax part number (12038), and it matches the II + 18-135 kit.

I do hope everything turns out okay. It is a great deal. From my experience with Overtock.com in buying a coffee table in the past, they have good customer service in processing returns/exchanges. Best of luck and let us know how the new camera and lens work out for you!

Yeah that is a good deal. I just bought a K30 or I'd be down. Really almost worth it and sell my K30 body...

I have bought stuff a dozen times or so from overstock since 2005. No problems so far.

I was lucky enough to buy the DA 40mm Ltd and receive the XS version. Took me a month to get my full refund. Had many conversations with many of their, constantly having to explain how I received the wrong lens and how they changed the ad after they started getting returns. As an "international" buyer, they didn't want to offer a full refund because of shipping costs, but mostly not because they insisted they never changed the ad and I had been shipped the correct lens.

Enough ranting, there's a thread about that.

I will never buy from them and cannot recommend them, regardless of the prices.

update: my account shows the oder is "under processing". At least they didn;t send me an email stating "a mistake in description" and "order cancelled".

Price is still listed as the same when I check it, even though it is listed as out of stock. I think its that the other poster is in Canada, not that the price changed for those in the US.

I also got in on this deal and now have a Fedex tracking number. I spoke to a CS rep and got verbal confirmation of part number 12038 (includes 18-135). It is time to gather my K20D original gear together and package it ready for sale so the funds can help pay for this. If anyone is looking for a K20D in good condition, feel free to make me an offer before I get it posted. I bought the body only kit from beach camera in 2009 but will also offer one of more lenses with it. I have the 18-55, 50-200 and a few older film Pentax and Takumar primes & zooms.
