Hey, thanks a lot buddy! My 6-yoa daughter was walking by and saw the picture of the Fresh Beat Band, and suddenly decided that I was looking at something that she should be interested in. How 'bout a spoiler tag next time?

Don't even mention that show. I've been ducking spoilers ever since the series passed me up in the books. I need to find a hole and start reading.

Audiobooks, my friend, audiobooks. I used to be an avid reader, but now I get my fix when I'm driving at work. And since you're in California, you should have plenty of time in your car to "read". You'll start to look forward to traffic jams!

Here is my recommendation for anyone really determined to get this lens refurbished from Sigma Outlet. Bookmark the Sigma store link above and visit it every morning. One day it might just pop up for you, where the "backorder" button changes to "order"! I check the Sigma Outlet every day and it RARELY has any new offerings, which is why I was surprised this morning to see the 50-150 listed.

I have been doing exactly that all summer. The approach works. Which is why it's not available now. I'm the culprit for the day it seems. It was listed as a refurb, IIRC.

Of course, if I were the generous sort I would have posted here and then waited for others to have a chance first.

I noticed right after I completed the transaction that it was missing again, so I assumed that there was only one copy available and didn't post anything. Good thing that my dental appointment didn't run too late .....

That's awesome! I guess the advice for people who REALLY want this lens is to wake up early, load up this Sigma Outlet link, and see if it's available-- if so, pounce on it right away without hesitation!
