Found this on the Canadian Amazon site. Not sure if this is a mistake or just an amazing deal.

1) its listed as out of stock
2) that looks to be a pricing mistake because that is the XS model price range. The Ltd model sells for $400+

Doc, Amazon doesn't usually pull fast ones like the blunders Overstock and Pentax had. The listing for the limited is different for the XS and has a different price also. These are down to about $250 on KEH (used of course).

Amazon vendors have, and recently too, made such mistakes. The price for new is much higher and it that is an accurate price a good deal.

True, unfortunately, it is out of stock for our friends north of the border. If you can stomach used, KEH prices are extremely good on that lens.

Apparently the DA40 LTD now has an f1.4 aperture.

I saw that too. Lots about this item listing that isn't quite right. Too bad, as it would have been a sweet deal.
