Good price. Actually it is a really good price (for Oz) if it is your 1st DSLR.
I would also get Pentax 17-70 F4 for ~$400 and 50 F1.8 for ~$180 from CR Kennedy.
Leave an 18-55 on a shelf, as an emergency back up.
