No idea. I had to Google it but didn't help.

Considering how little help google is on this, since there are only a maybe 2 separate instances tracing back to ebay. Based of the listings and the box size I would presume that it was just a sort promotional package that included the body with both the metered pentaprism and rigid magnifying hood. A short run of a promotional kit would explain why nobody remembers it.
