They usually kick it off at midnight, but I can't remember when they started last year. Thursday would make more sense for B&H, since they stop taking even electronic orders at sundown on Fridays.

Thankfully for them, Black Friday can never happen on a Saturday!

Bah! Same price as that Oprah coupon deal from not too long ago and there were more color choices on that one. Would have probably snagged it for $300. I guess I can wait till next year to upgrade my beloved Q...

My *guess* is last day they will turn around and have all of the previous 11 day offers back for that day. But, again, completely a guess .. no spidey senses used there.

Well I really like the marketing for this sales campaign. I like the design of the site, I like the daily 24 hour only specials, and even that you can get text alerts about the sales. This almost seems like....dare I say it...marketing! A good sign IMO for the new Pentax thanks to Ricoh!

As for waiting for B&H...REALLY want to know what they are going to be offering! The deal on the Q7 today is really tempting but if B&H is going to have something similar or better....and really REALLY wanting to know if they will have specials on the new HD lenses!

Totally agree; it seems on the same confidence-inspiring level as that video ad of the Denver-based photographer working with the K-3.
I think I could get used to Pentax being marketed so competently.
