I'm not seeing the extra 15% off there. The 20mm F/1.8 has been $469 for a few months and it still is :-(

Ha! Thanks RyanS. I went straight to the lens section of the outlet and skipped the home page where that information is.

They still have 9 of that 20mm. I prefer the 24mm actually, though having the 20mm won't hurt. A bit confused with the description and the accompanying picture. Which one is it actually?

This?

Amazon.com: Sigma 20mm f/1.8 EX DG RF Aspherical Wide Angle Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras: Camera & Photo

Or this?

Sigma AF 20mm f/1.8 EX - Review / Test Report

I'm hoping it is the first one.

It is the second one. The Amazon link doesn't have it in Pentax mount anyways.

Yeah - I was tempted to get either the 20 F1.8 or the 24 F1.8, but looking at the reviews on lenstip, photozone, and a few lens sample reference sites that I use, both are really quite terrible on the corners (basically they are a wider version of the 30 F1.4). I'll still mull on the 28 F1.8.. but I don't know if I really want to get it anymore...

But Sigma Outlet says that it is 20mm F1.8 EX DG ASP RF, which is like the first link, but the picture is like the second link, which was why I was confused by it.

I want to get the 28mm too, but I already have a 35mm and 15mm for something wide. Thinking of getting something in between and 24mm looks just nice in between. But the reviews...

The lens in the second link is technically the EX DG ASP RF also - EX DG and ASP are shown on the body, while RF is just REAR FOCUS (where the focus element resides).

The lens you are looking for is this: 20mm F1.8 EX DG ASP RF - Wide Angle Lenses - SigmaPhoto.com
Although I don't know if it is technically better than the previous version that is on sale in the outlet. Although I was mistaken - it comes in Pentax mount.

I guess it'd be worth checking with Sigma by sending them an e-mail. They should be able to respond tomorrow (Friday).

So there are five lenses available for 15% off? I would have expected more. Or am I missing something?

Well the outlet is only the refurbished lenses. If they don't have lenses to resell, then they just don't.

70-200 f2.8

Why is there never a 70-200 F 2.8 for Pentax. It must be that the pentax version is much more robust then the cannon and Nikon versions. Either that or people who shoot pentax know how to treat their equipment. So who thinks this is a good deal?

Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO OS HSM for Pentax 589109 B&H

I've been drooling over this lens for months. Does anybody think it will drop in price any more? Will Pentax ever produce one? Will Tamron ever give us the HSM on their lense?

This is the best version they have produced.
Your other options are the Pentax 60-250 or the Tamron 70-200.
This weekend is probably the best prices you will see on the Sigma and Pentax new.
