Is anyone thinking of ordering this to handle K3 pics?
I have CS5 and perhaps this would be a good time to get Lightroom, or would it be redundant/unnecessary?

It's redundant . Inside CS5 you have Camera raw who is the engine for Lightroom . Dont waste money

ACR in CS5 is v6.7 iirc

LR5 has ACR v8

I would say it is not redundant but an upgrade in ACR if you shoot RAW formatted images

Gosh! Just bought it few days ago for 149 bucks. 109 is very nice price, go for it!

LR and PS are complimentary, not redundant. Even without the processing features, LR is good for workflow, cataloging, etc, although some don't like it.

I tried several softwares, but Lightroom workflow is essential for me. I appreciated when I started to process tens of photos per session. Its much more effective to work in Lightroom.

Lightroom is still sold using the old business model, so yup, no cloud stuff.
