Yep, I should have waited and got the camera directly from Adorama's website to get those $8 back. But I've kinda been itching to use up my Amazon credit, so here was my chance...

For what it's worth, Adorama is selling the silver on eBay for $199, and at last check it said 5 sold, more than 10 available.
But not with free shipping.

Adorama does have free shipping, as long as you select the slower shipping option, and if you are in California at least, no sales tax.

Bought mine last week for $249 (from Adorama on Amazon -- gotta use those points!). VERY happy with the purchase. If you're thinking about it, I can soundly recommend that you just go for it. You won't be disappointed. The quality and features for the price? Incredible!

That's my only gripe with Adorama. Here's their quotes for shipping options from their warehouse in NJ outside NYC to 45 minutes west of Philadelphia:

• Super Saver (7-10 Business Days) $0.00 - 7-10 days? Really? Going to wait 5-8 days to ship it for it to take that long?
• Standard Shipping 3-5 Business Days $4.75 - 3-5 days? Post office is one - two days for regular mail.
• UPS 3 Business Days $13.25
• UPS 2 Business Days Air $16.50 - Flat rate priority medium box is what, $10.95 and guaranteed two days for that area?
• UPS Next Business Day Air $30.50

Their eBay ad offers USPS priority mail for $5.20. Anyway, I wanted it by Saturday, so I paid the UPS 2 business day. Checked the tracking and it's going to be delivered tomorrow. Great, overnight shipping, originally scheduled for Friday, but priority mail offered through eBay would have made it Friday or Saturday for 1/3 of the shipping price.


I only mention this because Running Warehouse in California where I get almost all of my running/training gear from does two day shipping for free on almost every single order.
