Not sure why Pentax store has two links for what looks like exactly same item. Here is a link of the hand grip steeply discounted:

Does anyone know whether the US web store will ship to Australia? The web interface is built in such a way that I have to pay before I enter my address details.

weird, other than the last few letters of the item number: "DOTW", the two look identical in the picture image and product description. In fact, the cheaper one has a little more description. Could one be more "genuine" leather and the other an artificial one?

Yes, that is the grip I have with my k-5 IIs., so not a good option for me.

I got one of these a few weeks ago from the friendly local PF marketplace and am very happy with it, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good way to carry around their camera.
