B&H has dropped their price on the 35mm further- it's just $159 through tomorrow.

Edit - Interesting - a second ago it was 150 dollars, now it's showing 158.

Still a pretty good deal, if anyone doesn't have this lens, you're out of excuses

Edit2 - I just checked now and it's 150 dollars again!
Amazon.com: Pentax 21987 DA 35mm f/2.4 AL Lens for Pentax Digital SLR cameras: Camera & Photo

If it doesn't open at that price, just go down to "New from 150" and the first vendor will be 150 dollars and free shipping.
None of those vendors are actually Amazon though. The site is little picking the cheapest one in stock at any given time it seems. That or pricing bots for each hosted vendor on Amazon is in the middle of a price war, trying to undercut each other; There is a lot of goofy stuff that happens on the Amazon site with non-Amazon sellers.

This is great price but I just returned mine after purchasing on Amazon for similar great price. The bokeh isnt as smooth, the lens doesnt become sharp before F4.0. Even the 18-135 that I have looked brighter at F3.5 than the DA 35 mm at 2.8. Maybe my copy is bad but DA 50mm 1.8 is much better in all above aspects and is a real steal at current prices.

Danny, I think you got a bad copy. Mine is very sharp at 2.4, even sharper at 2.5 (yes that's available too...) and super sharp at 2.8.

This is taken wide open with my K20D, no post processing whatsoever (just saving it as a high quality reduced size .jpg):

And this is also wide open. Same thing, no PP:

Somehow when I browse through the original size raw files they seem even sharper, reducing size and converting to jpg does seem to take some of it away.
