That is a really good price for brand new. I didn't pay much less for mine used.

Well I purchased this lens and it 2.4 certainly is not as fast as it seems, at least my copy. Agreed I got a great deal but F2.4 doesnt mean it takes in as much light. It is not as good(fast) for low light photography as say Sigma F2.8 17-50. My verdict: I'll pass and save that money for a nice zoom

Interestingly, Pentax Australia's (CR Kennedy) price is $A189 which is US$170.

So there is no reason for an Aussie to buy it from the US.

This is a great bargain at this price, and I'm really tempted by LBA once again. But will I really use it when I already have the DA35 Limited?

Edit - Interesting - a second ago it was 150 dollars, now it's showing 158.

Still a pretty good deal, if anyone doesn't have this lens, you're out of excuses
