I paid $1400 Australian for mine a little under two years ago and that was a bargain price then.

Thanks westoz! what sort of photography would this lens be for would you rate it highly?

It's a lens I never leave behind, for a zoom I rate it 9.5 I have a 70-200 sigma which is faster but the 60-250 just gives it that little bit more versatility. I use it for nature photography in situations were the versatility of a zoom out weighs the using of a prime Zoos or heavy cover with birds as the subject.

Ok then thankyou for the information It looks like a bargain as everyone is saying but I don't have the $$ at the moment in the process of having my front teeth fixed. I had to sell my beloved carbon fibre race road bike in order to fund them!

Lens has arrived and what a Great Lens, Thanks for the info and link Westoz.
Very happy with everything, including a Fantastic Service from Seller.

That's great I will be looking forward to seeing some photos out of beautiful Queensland, when I'm over there it always reminds me of Florida.
