So I was looking at this and a few others in the $200 range

I want a good landscape lens everyday lens that I could also use maybe even occasionally at weddings

right now it's between this and the Pentax 16-45 which both seem to deliver great results on Flikr

any advice?

For what you describe, I would find the 16-45 far more useful. A fisheye like this is only useful for a very limited number of types of shots, especially at a wedding.
