How do they (Plat II series) compare to a SanDisk Extreme (45 mbs version)?

I was about to ask that too...the 32 Gb SanDisk is $19.99 on Ebay, so should I get this Lexar for $15 now or should I get the SanDisk?

The platinum 2 is 30 Mb/s read+write, which is good enough for any camera but the K-3, which can go higher.

So as I have a K10D, the Platinum would be sufficient enough for multiple RAW shots without much waiting time for the transfer to complete?

I got a 32GB SanDisk Extreme (45MB/s) SD card last year. Every time I put it into my camera or computer it says "card locked" because the switch on it became so loose, it slides into the lock position when inserted. -__-
I've never had that happen on any other SD card before. I thought I read somewhere that SanDisk is less reliable.

I've always had excellent results from Lexar, that's my preferred card. I've been switching to sdMicro so my tablet can play along so I'll check those prices too!
