Woot has had some Vanguards over the last two months or so and I should have jumped already. Today they the Vanguard ABEO Plus 283 Carbon with BHH-100 head for $250. It's $530 at Adorama and just the legs at B&H are $380.

Separate of that, this is a lovely combo for a lovely price. I bought mine a year ago or so and enjoy it.

Nice tripod. It comes with two Vanguard quick release plates. I keep one on my camera body if tripod time is near.
