There is another thread for a good price on the K-3 in Australia from DigiDirect.
They also have a pretty good rate on The K-30 with the Sigma 17-70, at $629 plus shipping.
The K-50 prices are good at the moment too, but for some people the lens might make this package a better option...

Hi Steve,

As far as I understand it. Sigma does not make WR lenses.
I thought I read that on one of Adam's posts.

The Sigma alone sells in the $500 USD (on amazon) - equiv to $535 AUS.
If one wants the Sigma lens and needs a body - the K-30 will cost an additional $100 AUS on top of the price of the lens.

Too bad they don't ship to US

I thought I would when I went from K20D to K-30, but I don't miss it at all.

Thanks Brian, it was actually a rhetorical question as I'm not sure why DD would offer a WR body with a non-WR lens. Illogical really.

There have been a lot of combo offers with WR camera body and non WR lens. Most non-experts do not care much is the lens is WR and can be easily fooled....

The deals at DigiDirect are much wider than just the K30+lens. Everything seems to be about 10% off till Sunday. Seems you can even order the Sigma 18-35 for Pentax at 10% off, despite it not being in stock yet.

It's 10% off store wide, Sony A7 with kit lens is now just over $1500...Too bad I can not afford it at this point...
