I got my copy new. It's sharp with high build quality, and the focus (infinity mark) is exactly correct - which really helps with a wide-angle, since you'll typically use MF at infinity for the sharpest shots (even with relatively close objects indoors within a room).

So if it's a good copy, it's a great lens if you need sharp and wide but not that fast an aperture. While I prefer Pentax lenses' color rendering, I don't know of any sharper lens (wider than 14mm) on K-mount.
