How do these cards perform compared to the tried and true Sandisks (extreme 45 mb)?

These are 80Mb/s read and 40Mb/s write, so they're faster than everything other than the K-3.

The Samsung deal at Adorama is over. The Lexar 32GB Professional SDHC UHS-I 600x Class 10 Memory Card for Cameras, 45MB/s Max. Write Speed are at $16.95 but on back order. I ordered the Lexars (didn't realize they were out of stock), was going to cancel them and get the Samsungs but they are back up to $59.90.

I think Lexars below would be better even if they are on back order. They are tad faster than Samsung @45mb write speed.

I agree the Lexars are faster and better known, but I do need them in about a month but wanted them sooner, hopefully they will make it. Good to know that B&H is running the same deal, but they are also on back order.

I got the deal referenced in this along with a (backordered) O-GPS1 through the link here so I could help support the site. They are going to hold mine until the O-GPS1 comes back into stock, but that's okay because I don't need them right now, I just wanted to get it above the 200 dollar threshold.

I've done tests on Lexar's in the past. They fared poorly. I'd go with Transcend or Sandisk.

I just picked up this offer. The Samsung 32GB SDHC's work fabulous in my K-5 IIs. Performs like an entirely different and faster camera. A great bargain. It came with the free SD hard case storage and Flashpoint card reader. Bonus!
