The Pentax K-s1 is available for shipping at Prodigital 2000. They are located in Canada, but ship wordwide ( free standard shipping and no customs tax to the U.S.). They sell on e-bay and I think direct from them. As of this posting, they have the black, blue, and white body only for $749.99, and all 3 colors with kit lens for $799.99. I have bought 3 lenses from them in the past with no problems and quick shipping.

It's awkward timing that the camera's ship date falls on Rosh Hashana, a holiday for B&H and for Adorama. I too have ordered from ProDigital2000 with no issues.

I have no clue, but Adorama, and B and H are certainly. This was the first time I bought from BuyDig.com so it was a surprise. I think Jewish Holy Days are often quite intriguing.

I can keep mich better track of the Jewish holidays than my Jewish friends... simply by keeping up with the days B&H and Adorama are closed. It's become a running joke between us all.

B&H and Adorama are both actually located in mid and downtown Manhattan respectively. The stores in Brooklyn tend to be the less "reputable" ones.

I believe the ownership of both stores is Orthodox or Chasidic. They close early on Friday afternoon for Shabbat, too.

If you get a chance to visit Manhattan, the B+H inventory conveyor system has to be seen to be believed!
