Woot's reputable - They are now owned by Amazon, and I've never had a problem wiht the several orders I've made with them.

Horrible rating from resellerratings.com 0.43/10 based on 295 reviews

The more the price drops the more tempting it is to buy one.

I've never had a problem with Woot in 20+ transactions, but I suppose if you have one, that's what a chargeback is for.

This thread isn't about Woot deals and discussions about them should probably be had in the Woot thread in this section. Just my opinion.

The flash + grip combo is like the deal of the century! At worst you get a brand new K3 for $500 if you sell off the accessories? Amazing how they are able to drop the prices so much so soon!

Damn. Really was about to jump on this deal too. That's too bad. Was just waiting for my next paycheck. $1000 was my limit.

Agree, according to their statement:

"In the financial year ending March 2014, Ricoh Group had worldwide sales of 2,236 billion yen (approx. 21.7 billion USD)."

The $996 deal has been moved to a different kit: K-3 body + free grip

Pentax K-3 DSLR Camera Body 15530 B&H Photo Video
Pentax K-3 Digital SLR Camera Body 15530

Prices are always subject to change based on manufacturer policies, but it's good they didn't axe the $996 deal!

What does Adorama do when pricing their products online? This is like the third price blunder we've seen from them in the past month or so. Yeah we understand pricing is always subject to change and they're not bound to any pricing errors they put online, but they've been making so many mistakes lately.... It's getting a bit ridiculous.

I'd be curious to know if anyone had ordered one of the bundles that changed price and had their order cancelled...?
