I was tempted to buy this lens on impulse but I held back because I have the FA f/1.4 and f/1.7 lens. After reading the replied on this thread ... Ohh, I'm so glad I resisted!!

Looks like they are back in stock, according to their website, so i guess i will see if one gets shipped my way. I ordered one at the sale price on October 12th.

If you go to the web store page and try and leave, a "CHAT" window comes up. It's not chat. It's a robo-responder that can only tell you about the great free shipping offer. Amazingly you get the free shipping and still pay more than B&H or Adorama sells for.

Too funny how the "Agent is Typing" message keeps flashing when there's NO AGENT THERE. I suppose there are people who fall for it...

I had ordered the DA 50mm from PentaxStore in October. The website kept charging (and then un-charging my credit card) and kept postponing the order from week-to-week. I finally cancelled and bought from Adorama this past week. A bit more expensive, but MUCH easier and less stress-inducing. Heck, buying off of EBay is easier than ordering from these folks!
