Don't forget that Sigma lenses are also on sale, including the 50mm F/1.4 that's back in stock at $350...

I've ordered 31 mm limited, but the other two FA are tempting, too...

Just got word from B&H that these deals will remain around until Monday, so that should give everyone plenty of time to order in case you missed them yesterday

Pentax really letting loose the restrictions of factory set pricing, wonder if this is a change in philosophy in the USA.

They probably expect to sell a lot of DSLRs this holiday season, so offering some discounts on glass makes sense.

Done did the deal. I just ordered the FA77. That lens has been on the top of my want list for a long time. Only thing that keeps
nudging it aside for other purchases has been the price. Every year I allow myself a gift for having quit smoking and each year
I consider the FA77 but flinch at the cost and opt for something, erm, more justifiable. This year that budget went to a K-3.

I was cursing the fates when that sale went up. Oh, what temptresses! I deliberated but finally succumbed to inevitability.
It's done. It's mine.

Even the pricey FA77 costs less than a year's worth of smokes.

Congrats on the incoming lens, and even more so for kicking the bad habit!

Yes, I noticed and I think that tomorrow I'm going to bite the bullet and get the DA*300 I've been saving for. Probably isn't ever going to be offered much cheaper!

I just clicked on this email and am trying to justify a few to myself. I purchased a 43, 35 macro and da35, as well as a sigma 500mm this year. Do I really want to buy a 50 macro, a 77mm or a 15? Bah.

Thanks and thanks. You are correct about the cost, though it's still a big purchase. I've
honestly never spent anywhere close to that much on a lens. Most all the lenses I own
have been purchased used and most of those are older manual lenses. It really is quite
a leap for me.
