Was looking at Rokinon FE 14M-P 14 mm f/2.8 for 299.00.
419.00 is a really good price and more flexible, what are your thoughts?
I would be over buget, but would pay in the long run.
Any help would be great,
Thank you

I just ordered the 17-50. It's a great price and the lens has very good reviews on this site and others. While not as wide as the 14 mm, it's much more versatile and has the same max aperture. I can't see using a 14 mm very much. Is it even auto-focus? BTW I couldn't use the promo code mentioned earlier because you need the actual link, not just the code. Nonetheless, $469 is pretty good.

I ordered mine yesterday, also, but from Adorama (had some rewards).

I want to try pairing it with the DA*60-250.

How does this hold up in the rain? I was out last weekend in Leigh Woods and it was absolutely pissing it down, felt very confident in the weather sealing of the DA*16-50 + K5 but hesitant when it comes to 3rd party lenses

This lens has no weather sealing so might actually do some harm to the camera body as well. Definitely wouldn't take this lens out in the rain. Small drizzle maybe but heavy downpour not a good idea. Warranty won't cover water damages.

Try adding to cart and apply code at check out. If you have already ordered it B&H will refund you $50 if you ask them about it and show them the screen shot.

I also have the email sent from B&H with the link to the special if anyone who needs it let me know.

German/Eurozone prices dropped from ~550€ to ~350€ this July (USD excl. VAT: ~$580 to ~$370), I wonder why this didn't happen in the US...
Prices dropped across all mounts and have stayed between 300€ and 350€ ever since.

I just ordered this lens for $419 which included the promo price. Looking forward to getting it and the versatility it should provide. I have the 15mm limited - great lens, the 40mm limited, and the 18-135 WR. I'm looking for an indoor lens which will provide me the greater flexibility I want in focal length in that 25-45 range, improved capability for lower light conditions, and improved sharpness against the full frame.

I also have the 100mm WR macro lens which is incredibly sharp as well , but is isn't exactly what I call an indoor lens.

I cant find where to apply your 'Promo Code'. I have tried from the Chrome on my Galaxy Note 2. Tried all major browsers (IE 10,Firefox,Chrome) from my windows 8.1 desktop. Still cant find a place to enter the promo code.
When at the checkout page all I can see is "Apply B&H Gift Card" which obviously is not setup to accept any promo code. Now I am kind of sure that you clicked on a special link to availl of the promo code. A hidden link that activates the 'Enter Promo Code' textbox on the checkout web page.

I will try calling B&H tomorrow to see whether I can get it for $419.00. One heck of a deal for ANY f2.8 lens!

I had the same issue you had. If I went directly to the B&H website; and, your correct that there was not a promo code box. Then I launched it from the e-mail they sent me. I followed the directions at the very bottom of the page and it automatically took off the $50. I did not have to enter the promo code directly.

Agree with you that their website can be confusing to navigate.

Thanks for pointing this out since I know someone who'd be very interested. The downside is I spent a bit more than 419USD some time ago. Such is life. :-)

I really like B&H. Solid organization.
