Not sure how good of a deal this is but I thought I would post it anyways.

It is probably a good deal. Check prices on Amazon and at B&H. The Q7 is an excellent camera and a big improvement over the original Q.

On Amazon they are around $275 so I think that is a pretty good deal. I need another camera like I need another hole in my wallet though...

Good deal. I got a Q7/02 kit from Woot a couple of months ago. A step up from the original Q. I'd pick up another one as backup, but I'd prefer a kit with the 01, 06, or 08. I've already got two 02s.

A lot. A big step up in image quality. I can see myself doing a future story without needing to bring the K-3, just the Q7. I'd need the 06 and 08 zooms, but I'm confident that it can be done.

I'm very hopeful for the Q line as future models will see even more improvement.

Thanks for your thoughts, John. It is nice to see a professional recognize our little camera. Your work so far with the Q has been an inspiration.

Nice price. But I really would like one with an 01 prime on it. I still have my Q-to-K converter, OVF and a few extra, unused batteries left over from my original Q.

You will have to buy the 01 separately. They do not sell it as a kit lens with the Q7.
