K-3 Bundle now $796 at B&H
Posted By: Adam, 11-24-2014, 12:36 PM

I've reached out to B&H and they've matched the Adorama coupon price on the K-3. It's now just $796 with grip!

If you're in the US, don't forget your $19.95 2-year warranty extension:

Don't forget to add the AF-540 FGZ into your cart for a mere $50.
Or the DA 50 for under $120.
Or the DA 35 for under $150.

I would have gotten this from B&H but I wasn't sure how long the deal would last so i jumped on the adorama deal.
I have a slight preference for B&H....but a K3 is a K3...

I wish that they would stop doing this. It must be a sign of things to come, so pull the trigger or wait? Plus I have a hankering for a KS-1 also. That camera intrigues me. Those photos posted so far have looked really good.

I could not take all this temptation anymore and ordered the K3 from B&H today. The link in the forums works, when click on it B&H automatically adds the grip. I am upgrading to the K3 from my K10D. I added the flash, the DA 50 and the warranty for less than $1000.

I did the Adorama order too. Between the extra deals on the lens and flash and the fact that Adorama just dropped the K-5IIs price further, I am really ready for my K-3 to come in so I can just enjoy it and stop worrying about the price.

That pretty much sums it up for me too. The price is the same... for some reason I just like B&H a little better. I like their style. But I'm not complaining about Adorama by any means.

For me it's just an observation... I am not Jewish and I don't know much about all that... but I really like the fact that B&H honors what they say they honor in that regard. Aside from that they are a fantastic company with great customer service. When I can I do patronize them based on the fact that they are closed at certain times 'because of...' and I am very confident in them.

At present I only have one lens that I want...77mm... that will round out my 3 amigos... after that... I will need a second K3 body

Yeah, that price drop in the k5iis didn't help either, haha. I probably wouldn't even use the flash that much, but still one of those things that's just like "Well crap, wish I could have seen that coming." I've never dealt with either company, but have been very pleased by Adorama so far.

Adorama has adjusted their prices downward and EARLYPEEK no longer working.

So, who thinks that this is as low as the price is going to go this season?

I don't think it will go lower unless they exclude the grip. -$50.
Should see lower lens bundles, Lens deals and accessory bundles(bags cards etc)

In years past Pentax has had great deals on lenses over the weekend of Black Friday dropping their MAP restrictions. I think I am seeing somthing to push sales especially this year. Blow out prices on their upper end cameras before Black Friday and get them into the consumers hands. Then along comes the Black Friday weekend deals on lenses. All these folks with their new cameras will be chomping at the bit to grab some lenses.

I am also of the school that these deals are there to attract new pentaxians. People who might be willing to try but don't....until they see that killer deal... Broadening the base I think.

I have bought from both B&H and Adorama for many years. I never had a problem with either company. I have been buying from B&H longer since that is were back in the day I mail ordered all my darkroom supplies. No internet back then. I would buy from either without hesitation. I choose B&H because I received a better bundle deal. Richoh most likely wants to move more cameras since you buy a cheap Cannon or Nikkon anywhere now, even Target sells them. .Many people have tried to get me to switch to another manufacturer so I can get lens and accessories easier. I always tell them the first camera I used was a Pentax and the last camera I use will be a Pentax.

Is there any equivalent for EU buyers of that 2 years extra warranty ? Also how one goes about servicing a camera within the warranty period , that was bought in the US and is used in UK ? I won't say this deal isn't tempting...
