The grip is now back in the deal! Why oh why didn't I wait for another day to order... I ordered an additional battery with the K-5 IIs and it was $541 ( body + additional battery).

I would prefer a grip but it wasn't there yesterday. Oh well...

Give B & H a call or do a chat and they might be willing to add in that grip.

My Dear Pentaxian Friends, I used few words - after an intense comparitive read up of Pentax DSLRs on the Internet - that this B&H deal is a steal - $ 546.95 for a K-5 IIs Body + Grip + 64 BG Ultra Card.

Why bother about selling the Grip, use it. And when you are fed up with the K-5 IIs, sell it with the Grip.
.
Technology will keep improving with leaps and bounds - just that I do not believe in buying stuff at astronomical launch prices - like K-5 IIs at $1200. Also I am no Pro so will not buy exotic lenses at exotic prices. Rather keep changing to better & better camera Bodies that brings out the best in my so so lenses.

Here is a shot with my cheap Tamron 17-50 f2.8 and the K-5 IIs. It gives the Pentax 16-50 f2.8 a run for the money. Photo highly cropped in size. And my Tamron 28-75 f2.8 is still better. I have been seeing results from this lens with the K-x, K20D, K-5 and now the K-5 IIs - it leap frogs in performance because of the better camera technology.

Happy Thanksgiving friends. We have Thanksgiving some 3-times in a year - at Diwali, Holi, and on a special day called "Chama Yachna" or asking for forgiveness. Actually more than 3-times when we join the merry making with our Moslem, Jewish and Christian friends.

Regards.

It's already shipped. Not sure if that's possible? I'll try it, thanks.

Just got it too: $529.95 from B&H. I was dilly-dallying between K3 and K5iis. I already have a K5ii, which would need a new home soon. At the end. I feel a full frame is coming, but it would probably be a good 2 years before I will touch that. In the meantime, the K5iis will certainly give new life to my lenses.

As for the AA filter option in K3, I feel like I would not know if I hit moire when I'm shooting, so may be more of a post process option. Can't really justify the 50% premium based on today's prices.

becasue i would personally love to get a decent quality lens "bundled" with a new k3 at a discount but would have no interest in a "kit" 18-55 or 18-135 lens.
You can get a DA 50mm F1.8 in a bundle. Other lenses aren't bundled but there will be big rebates starting tomorrow, so be sure to check our homepage
