Has anyone that bought a 55-300 gotten confirmation? Mine still says "pending" and I ordered when they were listed as in stock.

Yes, I ordered the 55-300 and my lens shipped Nov 28 with a UPS confirmation due to arrive Friday (since I live on the west coast). It's left Secaucus, NJ, United States 11/29/2014 4:55 A.M. Departure Scan. I was impressed because they shipped the day after ordered and the rumors are the Pentax store is slow.

I bought the 55-300, and the first time that I went through the purchase, I turned off the options at the bottom of the page for creating an account and receiving emails and the process ended abruptly. All of the information was in at that point and I couldn't tell if it went through. I went back through the process, checked the options that had been turned off, and there were several more steps after that point to conclude the order this time.

This was done on Thursday, and I got the order confirmation about 3 hours later. The ad said that it was "available for back order", so I thought that they were OOS, but I got a shipment confirmation Friday evening.

How are you checking status? I didn't create a login when I placed my order for the FA31... Was that a mistake?

I created a login because of my past poor experiences with the webstore, I knew it was the only real way to check. I've put in an email inquiry with my order number and hope to get a reply tomorrow. I will keep the thread updated as to any response I get.

So after I read on this thread about the shipping confirmations, I checked my order status. It says "Pending Approval". I am bummed at this now. This is the 2nd time I am seeing signs of a problem with Pentax WebStore. Last time they did this was few years ago with DA 50mm lens. Boy... was that a controversey.

Just went for the 31mm, this is lowest price I have ever seen, and now completes the trio. I feel guilty and am overseas, but have till Thursday to figure out how to explain the "value" to my wife.

I finally decided to order the 31mm too. Seems like a good buy for the price, at least compared to comparable Canon L lenses. My K-3 will now have its soul mate.

Just ordered the 55-300 WR for my K5IIs. If I had a K3 I'd pass on it since the K3 sensor out resolves it. Should be fine on the IIs. Heck of a deal. It's out of stock but no rush here. web store says- Available for backorder

Welp. My fa31 order status changed from "received" to "pending approval"... I sent them an email yesterday regarding my order and have not heard back yet. This does not bode well for getting my lens in time for my trip to Europe in two weeks.
