There are a lot of other lenses on sale as well although the price cuts are not quite as high generally.

I bought the DA 55-300 WR, I could not pass on the price. You can barely buy the DAL version for that price new. I bought it to go with my K3 I have coming today. I payed with Paypal and received an email confirmation the same day from the Pentax Web Store. Hopefully it will not take too long to arrive. I know this lens has not received the greatest reviews, but now with this lens and the K3 I will not have keep a plastic bag over my camera and lens while shooting wildlife in not so favorable weather. I can not wait to try this on my new K3. .

Thanks for the heads up. Was able to save some money on my daughter's Christmas gift, a white k50 and the first digital Pentax SLR in the family!

It will be nice using it with my film PZ-1. I question how good this lens is gonna render on the eventual Pentax full frame. I say this because it was originally designed for film.

Much thanks for the heads-up on this deal. I was able to buy a K-50 body (white) with an HD DA 55-300 WR (which I have a need for, as opposed to a flash or an 18-55 zoom) for less than $560 shipped!
