There are a lot of other lenses on sale as well although the price cuts are not quite as high generally.

I just ordered the 31mm :-)

Have just bought both the FA 31 And DA HD 55-300. Thought I wouldn't buy any Pentax gear this year. But......it is too hard to resist~~~~

Well folks...I don't have a pentax camera, or any DSLR for that matter...but I'm now a proud new owner of the FA31 lol.

I have a K-5, but I want to switch to Sony very soon, and I'm very tempted to buy this lens to see how good it is at this price :/

Does anyone remember the price of the 31mm back in the early Hoya days?

I think it was around $850, then it was increased to $1000 when it was still under Hoya. This price is close to the K10D days when Pentax was still Pentax.

Just ordered my 31mm. I ordered a 43mm and 15mm last year and although communication was slow from the pentax store, they did deliver as promised. We'll see how it goes this time around.

My order was shipped today after ordering yesterday, with a scheduled delivery of Tuesday. Shipment (K-50) is from CT and I'm in NY.

Out of stock, yes. Available for back order, apparently. I ordered one (about 1 1/2 hours ago) and got email confirmation # and a message stating that item ships within 10 business days. I hope so. This outfit shafted me once before on another order, so I guess we'll see what happens.

I've been dragging my feet on upgrading my original Q but decided to go for the silver/black body only version for $179.99 with the free shipping. Lets hope it doesn't take too long to get to me. Thanks for posting the deals!

When I first ordered the FA31, its status was In Stock. I still haven't received confirmation that my order has shipped, yet the status is now Available for Backorder. Sounds like this might be a repeat of what happened last month with the 50/1.8 - which apparently did ship recently.

I received an email last night from the Pentax store that my HD 55-300 WR has shipped and will be here Wednesday. I also received a notification from My UPS notifying me that I have a delivery for Wednesday. So the Pentax store came through and I got the lens for $268. Can not wait for it to get here and try it out on my new K3 that arrived yesterday.
