The FA 31mm Limited is on sale for 773! smcP FA 31mm f/1.8 Limited (Black) | Pentax Webstore

The D-FA 50mm Macro is 303. smcP D-FA 50mm f2.8 Macro | Pentax Webstore

There are a lot of other lenses on sale as well although the price cuts are not quite as high generally.

I just ordered the 31mm :-)

Everyone who has had unsatisfactory experiences with the "Pentax Webstore" should be letting Ricoh Imaging USA know about it. Otherwise these kind of threads will pop up every 6 months or so...

I'm in Mexico actually, but never had problems to buy anything from anywhere (even from China, Korea or Japan), but in the end, if Ricoh/Pentax hired them still is his webstore.... now waiting for a bargain 31mm on B&H or Adorama, or free, free is always better XD

Edited to add: Someone at Pentax needs to step up and shoulder the responsibility for THEIR webstore. Leaving it in the hands of brandshop or ? at this time is irresponsible and leads to bad feelings and loss of customer confidence in my opinion.

File a dispute with your credit card. You already tried to resolve it with the retailer several times. Enough complaints can get Visa and MC to pull their cards from an unreliable merchant.

The 50/1.8 I ordered back in August was suppose to deliver today, UPS shows it delivered front door but no where to be seen. Hard to blame PWS for this one but I know I'm going to have a hard time getting a refund or replacement. I've had one other lost package out of the hundreds and Amazon asked me to wait 48 hrs and then sent a replacement. I called about my recent PWS order earlier and was told Q7 Kits also now backordered no surprise. I've bought from the Canon Outlet and the Sigma outlet never had a worry in the world so sad 3rd party I know but still reflects poorly on Pentax name.

Edit: It was in October not sure why I said ordered in August.

Wow, I'm so sorry to read that so many have had difficulties. I'm relieved that my copy of the 31mm, (ordered on the 27th) arrived in good shape today.

On the 28th,I did receive a call from Paypal. to confirm my order wasn't a fraudulent transaction. This made me a tad nervous, so, I checked my account and I had a pending and paid charge for the same item. Then it was quality time spent on the phone with Paypal, since I remembered the original order had been dropped three times.
With hindsight, it could have been simply a security setting I had with Paypal that caused the snafu.

On a happier note, I also, received the Q7 today and it was ordered three days after 31mm.

My 50mm f1.8 ordered on 10/04 was delivered a week ago. USPS put it in the mailbox a few hours after the regular 1st class delivery. Tracking said "door or box". It barely fit the box. Very well packaged. The lens box was fully wrapped in thick crumpled paper inside a heavy corrugated box. I hope they deliver my 55-300mm before y'all put 'em out of business

The price offsets the thrill of (relatively) immediate gratification.

Someone please tell me when the Spring rolls around and I'm shooting my kids' baseball games this will all be worth it. I thought I fixed their problem yesterday. Called to adjust the billing address and now I am getting the exact same email saying they couldn't verify my credit card. Now I probably have to call the cc company and call pws back again.

I'm happy to report that my transaction is finally complete. Today I was dinged $1,299.95 which was followed by a $526.53 credit.

Not sure how this would have transpired without this thread and my follow-up. In any event, Godspeed my "Pentax web store sales" friends and don't take shit from anybody.
