I think the price is about to go in the other direction for Sigma.

In a Vanbar mailing I got the other day, it says they have been advised that Sigma prices in Australia are due to increase by 10% on January 1 'due to the Australian dollar'.

Had to happen with the direction of our dollar thanks for the heads up might order now.

These guys seem pretty reasonable on most prices the lens you are after is $479 not sure if that is good or not.

BTW, I was eyeing the Samsung 24" 390D monitor which is available for $175 at DickSmith in case it interests you. Considered as good as some of the Dell Ultrasharp monitors. Available in shops from 26th
