I think that's the biggest discount they've ever offered!

Kudos to Pentax Oz for being mindful of attractive OS pricing.

Pity they don't have these 15% sales as often as JBHiFi does though, not to mention the regular rounds of discounts Sony, Nikon and Canon have been getting into recently.

Now I have to decide - do I get a 360FGZ II flash as well as the camera and TC. I wasn't expecting a discount on everything in the store and that makes the decision harder! Thinking I'll leave the flash for now and buy a tripod and focus adjustment kit from the USA, but definitely getting the K3 and TC from Oz!

The Pentax DA*300 is a fantastic lens. I'm getting the 1.4TC to go on mine, which makes it 420mm without taking the crop factor into account. I hope you can get the discount on the Sigma if that's the one you want!

Yep, works.
But I don't have $935 for a camera I don't really want anyway

My order is placed with CRK. Now I can't wait for it to arrive!! My total discount for the three items was nearly AUD$300.
My order with B&H is more problematic. :P

I bought one. I don't really need it but I want it. I'll explain to the better half later. Here's my rationale. It's the same price as a prime lens except with a K5IIs sensor attached. With the Australian dollar going south it's never going to be as cheap. In fact it ends up being cheaper in Oz dollars than the B&H price in US dollars. When was the last time that happened? Also as a camera it's a modern classic. It's a collectors' item. It's the camera old folk will reminisce about in the retirement village. Do you want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity? And no I don't work for CR Kennedy.

guys....just wondering...I was after the Sigma 18 50mm f 2.8 and 150-500mm, currently showing as $469 and $769 respectively across all sites including amazon. Can anyone please advise if this is regular price or only Black Friday price. If regular, I'd rather wait when I have move discretionary cash.

Can't help you with the lenses but I love the commentary on your Flickr site--nice photos too.

My order is in. The B&H and Adorama bundles were very tempting but I was willing to pay a small surcharge for a local warranty.

Resistance is indeed futile, just put in my order for it. I had wanted one for a long time, my lust for it is even higher now since I got to play with it during the Pentax Photo Walk, for this price it's not that much more than a used one, so there we go...

I just hope they have enough stock for it, during the Photo Walk I expressed my desire for one, but Corey said if I want one I better get in touch with them first to make sure they have in stock, even the Melbourne office didn't have one. Fingers crossed...

Congrats! I was really tempted to get one myself but decided that for now I'll make do with the flashes I already have.
