Didn't sound like Fuji's CS was much help either.

I read the same horror story, so decided to stay away from the X-F1. I may get a X-Q1 when the price becomes reasonable.

Or take a look at the original Sony RX100, which is steeply discounted compared to its original price. The RX100's lens is also f/1.8-4.9 and stops at 100mm, just like the Fujis. But it stays brighter longer than the Fujis do. And you have that larger sensor. This may sound strange coming from an XF-1 owner who really is reasonably pleased with the camera. But there are some very good alternatives out there right now.

Seems like a beaut device so far. Very cool camera, i do like how fuji do their camera's, i think this one will solidify that view.
