Lowest Q7 and 02 have been on woot is $279, Sept 14th. Pentax web store(PWS) had it for $199 not sure anyone who ordered one has gotten one, I haven't and their deal was also $399 for 02/06 kit.

Well I stand corrected, that did not show in my search. Still though $235 after shipping I think adding the 06 for $165 is a better deal IF you want both. I also agree we will see the final close out on these soon for $200 bodies and who knows maybe the 06 kits will go lower but I wouldn't count on it.

Enjoy the Q7, I really like my OG Q. I want to upgrade but I'd prefer a black or earth tone not yellow. I have wanted the 06 for while.

It still has a quality feel to it,
despite the switch from the mag alloy exterior.

I really like my OG Q.

I'm keeping mine.

It gives extra reach with adapted K-mount lenses,
and extra resolution with the 03 fisheye.

I have wanted the 06 for while.

I'm still a little skeptical about the build quality on that Hoya-era lens.
